Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 October 2017 Sofia Locks and ISEO Serrature took part in the EXPLORE event organized by the business community of Gellify, the new innovation platform for Italian B2B that connects young companies, investors and companies with the objective to create a work environment open to dialogue and collaboration.
During the two days in Milan, some of the most interesting small innovative B2B companies have met with leading global companies in their respective sectors such as Google, Shopify and OTB (OnlyTheBrave). During the plenary session entitled “B2B STARTUP”, companies such as Ducati, Electrolux, ISEO Serrature and Accenture, will compare their stories of innovation with those of young companies such as Cyber Dyne, WIB and Sofia Locks.
During the event, Maurizio Zama, ISEO Serrature Spa’s Strategic Development Manager confirmed the importance of finding in small companies one of the ways to bring innovation to both products and business models, but he also stated that finding the right partner for pursuing this path is not easy. “In fact, we need to find the company that not only has the technical skills, but also the one that has the right feeling with the people with whom they will work together every day”, something that requires both small and large company. As stated for adnkronos by Fabio Nalucci, CEO of Gellify, in fact:
IF IT’S TRUE THAT TO CREATE A B2B STARTUP YOU NEED FIRST A GOOD IDEA AND SKILLS, BUT THIS IS NOT ENOUGH FOR ITS EFFECTIVE SUCCESS. TO MAKE IT BECOME PRODUCTIVE, AND THEREFORE USEFUL FOR THE BUSINESS OF THE COUNTRY SYSTEM, IT’S NECESSARY TO CREATE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR ITS DEVELOPMENT. WE NEED TO DEVELOP AN ENVIRONMENT CAPABLE TO INVOLVE TRADITIONAL ENTREPRENEURS, DIGITAL ENTREPRENEURS, INVESTORS AND A BUSINESS COMMUNITY ABLE TO FULLY EXPLOIT THE INNOVATION.
