The Project
Established in Rome in 1974, Luiss University is a centre of academic and educational excellence currently attended by more than 11,000 enrolled students. The academic structure is based on four departments, complemented by Undergraduate and Graduate Schools that oversee Bachelor’s, Single Cycle Master’s, and Master’s degree programs, along with four Postgraduate training schools and the Luiss Institute for European Analysis and Policy. Over and above the transfer of knowledge, the Luiss educational model seeks to empower young people as active participants in shaping their own futures.
Distributed across multiple locations, ISEO provided the Luckey access management system by Sofia part of ISEO for the university’s infrastructure, taking advantage of the option for customised access management tailored to the university’s specific needs. At changing rooms on the Viale Pola and Viale Romania campuses, ISEO manages access to time slot bookable showers, ensuring ease of use and operational efficiency.
The system is also installed at the 200 student dormitory rooms, where ISEO implemented Aries connected trim set, enabling remote control and offering a customised function: on entering a room, the system automatically turns on the lights and the heating or cooling system tuned to that user’s defined settings, delivering a flexible and innovative experience. Using the customised app, students can temporarily send invitations to friends or family they may be hosting, ensuring complete freedom of movement during their stay.
