Luckey Resources and Reservation: last updates

We are thrilled to announce a series of significant updates to Luckey’s Bookey add-on for reservation and resource management. These enhancements offer greater flexibility and control to both users and administrators, ensuring a smoother and more efficient booking experience.

App Check-in Disabled

With the latest update, administrators now have the option to disable check-in via the app. This means that users must check in directly at the resource location, adding an additional layer of security and personal interaction, which can be crucial in contexts where direct contact is preferred or necessary.

Multiple and Customizable Availability

Resource management has a significant new feature with the ability to set multiple availability intervals for resources. This flexibility allows administrators to adapt resource usage to specific daily or weekly needs, facilitating the scheduling of events or meetings that require different time configurations.

Reservation Time Settings

A setting has been introduced to define the minimum booking time, starting from zero hours to further simplify the booking process. This feature is particularly beneficial for last-minute bookings or short meetings, allowing a more dynamic and immediate use of available resources.

User Booking Limits

A new setting allows administrators to limit the number of active bookings a single user can have at one time. This control ensures fair access to resources by all users, preventing monopolization and ensuring a more even distribution of availability.

Email Notifications for New Bookings

A significant update concerns the communication of new bookings: administrators can now designate email recipients who will be notified whenever a new booking is made. This ensures that all interested parties are promptly informed of developments, improving resource management and internal coordination.

Sharing Booking Credentials

The ability to decide whether users can share their booking credentials with other registered users has been introduced. This option promotes collaboration and flexibility in resource use while maintaining control over access.

Automating Lock Opening

Finally, security and convenience have been enhanced with rule-based automatic events for opening locks. Locks can now automatically open at the start of a booking or remain open when there are no imminent bookings, facilitating uninterrupted access for users.

These updates are designed to make resource management more intuitive and adapted to the needs of modern workplaces and facilities, significantly improving operational efficiency and user experience.
